Amy Schumer Moves On, Selling ‘Moonstruck’ House in Brooklyn
Amy Schumer Bids Adieu

The comedian Amy Schumer took a loss on the sale of her Brooklyn townhouse, selling the refurbished brick home for $11 million, $1.25 million below what she had paid for it more than three years ago.
The closed sale came just as Ms. Schumer announced the end of her seven-year marriage to the chef Chris Fischer. The two had been eager to buy the house in the summer of 2022, paying well over the asking price, then $11 million.
Ms. Schumer has appeared in numerous films and TV shows over the years, most recently starring in this year’s comedy “Kinda Pregnant.”

The Federal-style house, built in 1829 and located in the Brooklyn Heights Historic District, has had a starring role of its own. It distinctive exterior, with a mansard roof and classic brownstone stoop, was featured in the 1987 film “Moonstruck.”
Four stories high and 26 feet wide, the building extends around 5,568 square feet, with five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, as well as two parlors and a library. The primary suite sits on the third floor and features two small offices and a dressing room.
On the lower level is a laundry room, wine cellar and gym. Outside is a rear garden.
Although the home was renovated, a few original architectural details remain, like the hardwood floors, marble fireplace mantels and crown moldings.
The listing agents are Karen and Kyle Talbott of the Corcoran Group, and Adam D. Modlin of the Modlin Group.
Steve Buscemi’s Farewell
In an off-market deal, the actor Steve Buscemi sold his longtime Brooklyn brownstone. The closing price was $4.99 million.
Mr. Buscemi had bought the house, in the Park Slope neighborhood, in 1997 with his wife, Jo Andres, a choreographer and filmmaker. They raised their son, Lucian, also an actor, there. Ms. Andres died in 2019.
The building, a couple of blocks from Prospect Park, is three stories high and has nearly 3,700 square feet of interior space.
Mr. Buscemi, whose film credits include a starring role in the Netflix TV series “Wednesday,” is now living in Manhattan with his current wife, Karen Ho.
Russell Wilson and Ciara’s Listing
One of December’s priciest listings is in California. Russell Wilson, quarterback for the New York Giants, and the Grammy Award-winning singer Ciara, are selling their eight-acre estate in Rancho Santa Fe. The price: $54.9 million.
The massive property, known as Amor Estate, in the gated Del Rayo Estates enclave, has nearly 30,000 square feet of living space. This includes the main house, a Mediterranean-style structure with a striking entry atrium and seven en suite bedrooms, along with a two-bedroom guesthouse.
The resort-like home is chock-full of amenities. Among them: a game room and billiards lounge with a bar; a fitness center with sauna, cold plunge and spa facilities; and a home theater. There’s also a pool with a waterslide, several other water features, lounging decks and a 10-car garage. And if that’s not enough, a motor court has space for 12 additional vehicles.
Oh, and you’ll also find a multisport court and the athletic field where Mr. Wilson was known to pass a football or two with his N.F.L. buddies. The bulk of his career was with the Seattle Seahawks, which won the Super Bowl in 2014, and this year he signed with the Giants.

One of the months’s biggest closings took place in Old Snowmass, Colo., an unincorporated community just outside Aspen.
A 3,740-acre ranch, listed for $150 million, sold for $120 million, according to a special warranty deed recorded in Pitkin County. The property had been owned for almost seven decades by an order of Trappist monks and run as the St. Benedict’s Monastery.
The buyer reportedly was Alex Karp, the chief executive of Palantir Technologies, one of Colorado’s largest companies. Ken Mirr of the Mirr Ranch Group, one of the listing agents, wouldn’t comment on the identity, citing an NDA vow of silence, but said the buyer, who made the purchase through a limited liability company, would be using the property as a residence. (Mr. Karp did not respond to a request for comment.)
The site has more than a dozen buildings, including a 24,000-square-foot monastery, where the monks had lived and prayed; a spiritual center; and nine hermitages, or guesthouses, along with several barns.
In addition to Mr. Mirr, the listing agents were his daughter, Haley Mirr, and Michael Latousek of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
Trina Turk’s Midcentury Modern
The fashion designer Trina Turk has sold her Los Angeles home — a restored house designed by the noted midcentury architect John Lautner, an apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright.
The closing price was $2.59 million, which was 8 percent above the $2.395 million list price. Built in 1948 on a hillside in the Echo Park neighborhood, the 1,361-square-foot building has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It sits on around a third of an acre facing the Pacific.

Passionate about architecture and design, Ms. Turk and her husband, Jonathan Skow, a photographer who died seven years ago, had bought the home in 2014, paying $1.2 million. (They beat out 14 other bids, including one from the bassist Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.) The two then spent the next two years meticulously restoring and renovating the property.

Kaia Gerber Is West Coast Bound
The model and actress Kaia Jordan Gerber is asking $5.795 million for her renovated Manhattan condo.

The loftlike apartment also features an open kitchen and a spacious great room anchored by a gas fireplace.
Ms. Gerber, the daughter of the 1990s supermodel Cindy Crawford, had purchased the apartment nearly seven years ago, from the actor Mike Myers, for $3.95 million. She is apparently relocating to Los Angeles, where she’s filming the upcoming TV series “The Shards.”
The home is listed with Georgia McDonald of the Power Team at Corcoran.
Freddie Freeman’s Sale
Freddie Freeman, first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, chalked up a loss on the sale of his recently built Los Angeles home in Studio City.
He and his wife, Chelsea, an entrepreneur, who have reportedly relocated to Pasadena, Calif., bought the residence brand-new in the Longridge Estates neighborhood for $7.825 million in 2023. They sold it for $6.45 million, well below their initial asking price of just under $9 million in 2024.

The property includes a 4,535-square-foot main house and a 500-square-foot guesthouse, on nearly a quarter of an acre, with a total of four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and a powder room.
Mr. Freeman, previously with the Atlanta Braves baseball team, signed with the Dodgers in 2022 and helped the team win the World Series in 2024 and 2025.
Ginger Glass and Alexandra Glass have the listing.
Diane Keaton’s ‘Pinterest House’
Roughly two months after her death, the actress Diane Keaton’s so-called Pinterest house is back on the market — this time with a reduced $26.9 million price tag.
The home, nestled in Los Angeles’s Sullivan Canyon, on the outskirts of Brentwood, had been offered for sale in March, at $28.9 million. But with no takers, it was quietly unlisted by Ms. Keaton a couple of weeks before her death at the age of 77.
The house, on just under an acre, was one of the most ambitious projects undertaken by Ms. Keaton, who was passionate about real estate and architecture, and was the subject of her book, “The House That Pinterest Built.” (She had pinned numerous architectural images for the house on her Pinterest account.)
The brick farmhouse, which comes with a silo tower, measures around 9,200 square feet, with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half-baths.
Andrew Gulyas of Destination Home has the listing.
